Zino Davidoff, the creator of this Cuban cigar brand, was originally from Kiev, Russia. His cigar empire started out with only one very small Cuban cigar shop, but the Second World War created the opportunity to expand in a much wider Cuban cigars market located in Switzerland.

The Davidoff Cigars became a world wide chain in the 1970's. The Davidoff cigars have complex subtle flavours, they are medium or even mild Cuban cigars that age perfectly.

The Davidoff brand was discontinued in 1991 and by agreement all stock was to be disposed of by end of 1992.
