The pre-revolution La Gloria Cubana brand is a very old Cuban cigar brand that dates from 1885. Discontinued in 1959 but reintroduced in 1965, La Gloria Cubana still has a minor market share at Habanos S.A.
"the Glory of Cuba" presents a limited range of cigar sizes, but uses only the excellent premium tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region in Cuban. The average La Gloria Cubana cigar strength is medium. All cigars are handmade.
La Gloria Cubana was developed in the beginning by Jose Rocha and Rafael Garcia and the brand got off to a good start thanks to tireless promotion by Pepin Fernandez, owner of the Romeo y Julieta cigar brand, who helped his friends introduce the La Gloria Cubana and El Crepusculo brands overseas.
There is a non-Cuban cigar brand with the same name!
