"Cigars are no longer just for the seasoned smoker.
They have become a staple in society for rookies and veterans alike,
representing an air of character, class and pleasure. Whether it's a
satisfying smoke after dinner, during a round of golf, or out at the
bar for drinks, cigars are the perfect complement to your lifestyle
because that is exactly what defines cigar smoking:
-- your lifestyle. Welcome to the good life!"

The Maria Guerrero cigar brand is one of the discontinued Cuban cigar brands. María Guerrero was a pre-revolution Cuban cigar brand established 1905. It was a sister brand to Romeo y Julieta, but were discontinued circa 1985.
The Maria Guerrero brand was created by Jose Rodriguez Fernandez in honour of the famous Spanish singer Maria Guerrero and the brand was always linked to Romeo y Julieta.
The Cuban Revolution did not affect the production of Maria Guerrero cigars and 25 models were listed. When the brand was officially discontinued in 1985, the only model left was a new hand-made model introduced in the late 1970's decade, the Grandes de Espana.
There is a non-Cuban cigar brand with the same name.
