The Quintero Puritos cigars are mild Cuban cigar with a very nice aroma. A quite small stick that has a perfect draw and a good combustion where a Cuban cigar aficionado can find earthy, peppery and some honey notes with no complexity at all.
These Cuban cigars were discontinued in 2005. Their production was then transferred to ICTSA.

Augustin Quintero and his brothers (Hno.) got their start in Cuban tobacco industry in their hometown of Cienfuegos in the Las Villas province of Cuba back in 1924.
Twenty years later, in 1940, they created this full-flavoured Cuban Cigar brand which continues today as one of Habanos S.A.'s multi local cigar brands with a significant market share.
Quintero cigars are primarily machine-made, but hand-finished vitolas. There cigars are medium strength cigars using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region.
Another non Cuban cigar brand is on the market with the name: Quintero
- Quintero Brevas cigars
- Quintero Londres Extra cigars
- Quintero Nacionales cigars
- Quintero Panetelas cigars
