#1-    ROMEO Y JULIETA SHORT CHURCHILLS CIGARS

The Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills cigars wear a new extra type 4 cigar band. They came out in 2006 but were previously a special release for Romeo y Julieta. They are excellent Cuban cigars with consistent burn burn and draw. The cigar never became bitter and the over all taste was good, but not strong.

#2-    HOYO DE MONTERREY CHURCHILLS CIGARS

The Hoyo de Monterrey Churchills are quite unique Cuban cigars. You might find a salty taste to them in rare occasions, or combined sweet and salty at the same time. Other rich, strong flavors predominantly reminiscent of mocha.

#3-    H UPMANN SIR WINSTON CIGARS

The H. Upmann Sir Winston share the same taste as H. Upmann Monarcas. This is a Habano of exceptional quality. As it is from H. Upmann, the Cuban tobacco taste is strong and the materials used are first class. That strong tobacco taste is greatly balanced with herbal flavours. As time passes by, this cigar gets better and better. The Sir Winstons used to be a machine-made vitola till about 2002 and used to also come in B25c packaging.

#4-    RAFAEL GONZALEZ LONSDALES CIGARS

The Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdales cigar is a well balanced and flavoured Cuban cigar, sweet, honey, vanilla, coffee and wood notes. The draw and combustion is quite nice and it is also considered as one of the best in this format. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least three years. These Cuban cigars were discontinued in 2006.

#5-    HOYO DE MONTERREY EPICURES NO.2 CIGARS

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 are completely hand-made with tobacco leaves coming from Vuelta Abajo. This Cuban Robusto cigar, with excellent burn, is the last product from Hoyo de Monterrey. With a smooth strength, it has an intense Cuban tobacco taste, blended with cocoa, cinnamon and dried fruits. Before 2005 these Hoyo Epicures #2's didn't have cigar bands.

#6-    H UPMANN NO.2 CIGARS

The H. Upmann Upmann No.2 is a famous torpedo. As this Cuban cigar has been compared to Montecristo No. 2, many smokers or guides say that H. Upmann No.2 is stronger than the Montecristo, but some others think the other way round. The explanation is simple. As said with H. Upmann No.1, this Habano needs years of ageing to develop its whole potential, getting stronger as time passes by. The Upmann No.2 cigars are great Habanos to keep in your humidor for a few years.

#7-    HOYO DE MONTERREY EPICURES NO.1 CIGARS

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.1 has similar strength than the Hoyo Doble Coronas. A background of sophisticated herbal flavours is perfectly combined with a woody taste that makes this Cuban cigar quite special. This cigar lacks that ageing potential some others have, but on the other hand, when just three years old, it is one of the best of that age. These Hoyo Epicure #1 didn't have cigar bands before 2005.

#8-    RAFAEL GONZALEZ CORONAS EXTRA CIGARS

The Rafael Gonzalez Coronas Extra cigars are the biggest cigars in the Rafael Gonzales brand. With a perfect draw and combustion, many smokers agree that this Cuban cigar is the best Coronas Gordas in the whole market. Grassy and dark chocolate notes greatly balanced with medium tobacco taste. Before the 1970's this cigar size was reportedly 48x140.

#9-    POR LARRAÑAGA PETIT CORONAS CIGARS

The Por Larranaga Petit Coronas is one of the best merevas of the Cuban cigar size. A great balance between quality and price, this cigar offers extremely good value. Medium taste, good aroma. One of the most appreciated Cuban cigars from this manufacturer. They used to exist in B25 and SLB25 packaging as well.

#10-    H UPMANN MAJESTIC CIGARS

The H. Upmann Majestic shows dried olive flavour but balanced with toasted and clean Cuban tobacco taste. The recommended ageing for this Habano goes between 5 and 8 years. Strength 3/5. These Majestics used to be a machine-made "Cremas" 4x140 vitola till about 2002 and used to also come in B25c packaging.
