The Vegueros 135th Anniversary Humidor was made to commemorates the 135th Anniversary of the establishment of the City of Pinar del Rio, known as the "Capital of Cuban Tobacco". These Humidors were signed by five leading cultivators from the Pinar del Rio region and they were a private commission by "Caracol SA". The Vegueros Cepo was a new special released size and the others were regular production sizes for Vegueros.

Vegueros is elaborated in the tobacco factory Francisco Donatién, in the western province of Cuba, since 1960. It is commercialized in Semi Boite Nature boxes of 25 cigars, as well as in cardboard boxes of five cigars each.
The Vegueros cigar trademark maintains the tradition in its elaboration and its distinction in the cigar blend. All Vegueros cigars are totally elaborated with raw material from Pinar del Río, the area which produces the best Cuban tobacco leaves in the world.
Vegueros is a Habanos local cigar brand with a minor market share and most of their cigars are full strength cigars.
